Incredibly Chic Collection from Whyred Menswear

On this collection alone Whyred has become one of my new favourite brands. Everything about this showing is on point. The extra slim tapered, and creased trousers, swinging nonchalantly above the ankle, the deep 'V' on the double breasted jacket is cunningly clever, and the narrow button down collars all appeal to my sensibilities. The green mod meets fishing attire inspired rain mac is pretty neat also (may have to invest in a similar piece for life in London over fast approaching autumn months). Really impressed by this range. I will definitely be doing some research into the Whyred brand, I suggest you do to.

Here Comes The Brit In Black

Neil Barrett is flying the British flag high and mighty in his dark twisted fantasy of an S/S range at Milan Fashion Week. Loving the luxe leather looks, drop crotch tapered trousers, and super slim collars and lapels. The patterns however are mistakenly brash rather than beautifully bold. P.S There is no new black.

Givenchy are and almost will always be the king of prints, Gucci and Louis monochrome have nothing on Ricardo Tisci's vision for vibrant, elegant and romantic patterned prints. The slim suits are stunning but I unfortunately not quite office attire, I doubt you could wear such a close fitting suit to a party. Hmmm. Also the man skirt and leggings aren't quite catching on for me but these guys manage to pull them off here. I don't see this transferring to street level in the near future. However if they were black I could see it happening...

This is contemporary classic at an accomplished level. So suave and minimal. Could I even say this is chic? The leather adds a splash of luxe to the clean and classy look but too bad these shoes are a tad fugly.

Adam Kimmel reached out for models who comfortably fit the rock and roll mould, tattos, attitude and rough but manicured facial hair! These cool officianados were softened up as they graced the runway barefoot in Kimmels Classic inspired collection spiced up with a more modern silhouette. These two outfits spoke to me as the cut of the bottoms appears to be idyllic, a well constructed slim tapered leg with a regular fitting waist and relatively long seat, none of that low waist or drop crotch foolishness. Also the suit jacket is a lovely smart-casual, two-button, narrow lapel piece of navy eye candy. (And the jet pockets smash it! Sick!) The 'on-trend' wax coated, cropped field jacket is also a great piece.

Adam Kimmel is One to Watch...

NB There are many field jackets on the market so shop around, Garbstore have made the best one in my opinion, however Topman had a decent one out not too long ago. Most menswear brands make 'em. Go vintage if you havent got a couple of hundred for the Garbstore or dislike the highstreet imitations.
